Background Information


Steve Greenlaw
is Professor of Economics at the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, VA. He earned his Ph.D. in economics from the State University of New York at Binghamton in 1987.

Steve has conducted research on economic education since 1991. He participated in both the 1994 AEA Teacher training workshop, and in the 2006 AEA Teaching innovations Program Workshop. He has given numerous conference presentations in this area, and has published pedagogical papers in a variety of journals, including the Journal of Economic Education, Contemporary Economic Policy, and the International Review of Economic Education. He has also served as a submission reviewer for publication in those three journals. Most recently, he has been exploring the use of social software tools to enhance teaching and learning.
